Emma Barton is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Los Angeles office. She joined the firm in 2022. She attended Harvard Law School, where she graduated cum laude. She received the Dean’s Scholar prize in Capital Punishment, and Mass Incarceration and Sentencing Law. In law school, she represented clients in disciplinary hearings in prisons via Harvard’s Prisoner Legal Assistance Project. She also worked for the California Appellate Project where she assisted in representing death row prisoners on their habeas petitions.
