Dylan Byrd is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s San Francisco office. He specializes in civil litigation, particularly intellectual property disputes and complex commercial litigation.
Dylan has extensive experience in every stage of litigation: he has appeared in courts across the country, taken and defended depositions, argued and won contested motions, prepared witnesses for trial, participated in trial, litigated appeals, and ushered many contested disputes to resolution. Dylan has represented both plaintiffs and defendants from a variety of industries, including leading technology, entertainment, life sciences, and media companies. Dylan has represented clients in federal district and appellate courts, California state court, and in arbitration.
Prior to joining the firm, Dylan was an associate at another leading international law firm representing clients in intellectual property disputes and complex commercial litigation. During law school, Dylan was a member of the Georgetown Appellate Litigation Clinic and worked for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, in Washington, D.C.
