Zoé Can Koray is a Senior Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Paris office. She joined the firm in 2024.
Zoé specializes in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration. Admitted to the Paris Bar, her practice also focuses on commercial litigation across a variety of sectors and jurisdictions. She has developed particular expertise in litigation and arbitration disputes involving shareholders.
Zoé completed a PhD at Panthéon-Assas University, with a thesis focused on shareholder damages. Her work has received several prestigious awards, including the Cercle Montesquieu Prize for the best business law book of the year (2023), the France-Amériques Prize (2020), and the international Pierre Coppens Prize in business law (2020).
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Zoé worked as an academic lecturer at Panthéon-Assas University and as an associate at international law firms in Paris. Zoé continues to teach business law and regularly publishes articles on corporate and international commercial law in both French and international legal journals.
Zoé is fluent in French, English and Turkish, and proficient in Spanish.
