Anna Chiettini is a qualified attorney in Italy (Avvocato) and Germany (Rechtsanwältin). She joined Quinn Emanuel’s Munich office as an Associate in 2024. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and patent litigation.
Anna graduated from Bocconi University in Milan in 2019, after completing study periods in Singapore and Adelaide. During her final year, she wrote a thesis exploring the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on patent law, while also gaining practical experience in the Life Science and Food Law practice group of an international law firm in Milan. Following graduation, she worked in the Corporate/M&A sector at a Magic Circle law firm in Frankfurt until 2021.
In 2021 Anna joined the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich, where she secured funding to write her doctoral dissertation on the inventive step in AI-related inventions. Her dissertation is currently under review at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
She is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
