Aseem Chipalkatti is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Washington, D.C. office. He joined the firm in 2024. Before joining the firm, Aseem was a Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, which he joined as a part of the Attorney General’s Honors Program. While there, he investigated anticompetitive conduct and mergers in the Division’s Financial Services, Fintech, and Banking Section. Prior to the Department of Justice, Aseem clerked for The Honorable Tanya S. Chutkan on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Aseem graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law and defended indigent tenants in Philadelphia Municipal Court through Penn’s Civil Practice Clinic. Aseem has served on the board of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington D.C. for the 2023 and 2024 terms.
