Benjamin Edwards is an Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. His practice focuses on complex competition litigation. Benjamin advises both Claimants and Defendants in abuse of dominance and cartel claims before the English Courts, with a particular focus on collective proceedings in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Notable current representations include acting on behalf of the Class Representative in collective proceedings against Meta Platforms Inc. (formerly Facebook) for their alleged abuse of dominance, and in proceedings against a number of large banks concerning the manipulation of LIBOR. Previously, Benjamin has acted in two proceedings on behalf of a large group of asset managers and pension funds against banks regarding the manipulation of foreign-exchange rates, and in collective proceedings on behalf of a defendant to a standalone abuse of dominance claim in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Prior to joining the firm, Benjamin completed his Masters in Competition Law at King’s College London, which he achieved with Distinction and was awarded two prizes for ‘Best Student’ in his cohort and his dissertation on the interaction between Article 102 TFEU and the European Commission’s Digital Markets Act.

Benjamin is also a member of the Competition Law Association (CLA) and regularly speaks to law students on developments in UK and EU competition law.
