MacKenzie Freed is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Silicon Valley office. She is a graduate of Boston University School of Law and joined the firm in 2023.
While at Boston University School of Law, MacKenzie served as a certified student attorney where she represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts through the Criminal Prosecution Clinic. In this role, MacKenzie reached numerous favorable rulings and secured a “guilty” verdict at trial.
MacKenzie also served as a staff editor for the Public Interest Law Journal, Mentorship Chair of the Women’s Law Association, Class Representative and member of the First Generation Professionals group, member of the Mock Trial Competition Team, and was a quarterfinalist in the Alber Homer Prize Moot Court Competition.
Prior to attending law school, MacKenzie held the job of Miss California 2018 where she gained experience in the nonprofit and media sectors. She also worked at a transactional intellectual property law firm in California as a legal assistant.
