Ben is an Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. He joined the firm in 2024.
Ben’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and he has a particular focus on contentious insolvency and restructuring matters. Prior to working at Quinn Emanuel, Ben was an Associate in the London Commercial Disputes team of a leading global firm. Ben started his career in law at a top New Zealand disputes firm. Ben has appeared as junior and sole counsel in the High Court of New Zealand, and as junior Counsel at the Court of Appeal of New Zealand.
Ben regularly advises directors, general counsel and individuals on all matters arising in active and potential disputes.
Ben holds a Master of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland, where he submitted his dissertation on the duties of New Zealand directors during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics and International Relations.
