Dr. Gentiana Imeri is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Zurich office. She joined the firm in 2024 and is admitted to practice law before all Swiss courts. Gentiana’s practice focuses on white collar crime investigations, cross border proceedings and litigation. She is a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen in the field of constitutional law and public international law.
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Gentiana worked at another major Swiss law firm, where she led investigations on cross border business activities of Swiss financial institutions and business activities of commodity trading companies. She represented clients in regulatory proceedings before Swiss and foreign authorities.
Gentiana holds a PhD (summa cum laude) from the University of St. Gallen. Her dissertation contributes to the field of behavioral law and economics and was awarded the Professor Walther Hug Prize. During her doctoral studies, Gentiana was as a research associate at the Chair for Law and Economics, Legal Theory, Public International Law and European Law of the University of St. Gallen. She was also a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago Law School and at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods.
