Kiel B. Ireland is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and appeals. Before joining the firm in 2024, he was a deputy solicitor general for the State of Nevada, representing state officials and agencies in high-stakes and politically sensitive matters at every level of the federal and state courts. In that role, he argued nine cases in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Supreme Court of Nevada. At the start of his legal career, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ed Carnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
