Roy Jung is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York office. He joined the firm in 2025. His practice focuses on litigating patents and trade secrets.
Prior to joining the firm, Roy worked for a global law firm. While there, he assisted in litigating a successful jury trial involving Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) filter patents and trade secrets. Further, he litigated matters involving semiconductor and software patents before the federal district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
During law school, Roy was an editor for the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Quarterly Journal. Before law school, he worked as a software engineer and as a project manager for a Global Fortune 500 company. While there, he worked on automation projects like the World Trade Center.
