Nic Keller is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s New York Office. He joined the firm in 2024. After graduating cum laude from New York University School of Law, Nic worked at a New York law firm on an array of internal investigation, white collar, international arbitration, complex commercial, bankruptcy, monitorship, data privacy, and pro bono matters. He subsequently served as an Assistant Deputy Superintendent in the Consumer Protection and Financial Enforcement Division of the New York State Department of Financial Services (“DFS”), the statewide regulator of the banking, insurance, and financial services industries for the State of New York. In that capacity, Nic played a key role in the investigation and litigation of insurance fraud, including in connection with the opioid crisis, and in the regulatory compliance review of the business transactions of DFS licensees. Before moving to his current position at Quinn Emanuel, Nic also owned and operated his own solo law firm, an experience that gave him firsthand insight into the legal, regulatory, and practical considerations of business ownership and management.
Nic’s practice at Quinn Emanuel is constantly evolving and includes internal investigations, government enforcement, white collar criminal defense, and complex commercial litigation.
