Alec Levy is an Of Counsel in Quinn Emanuel’s Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Levy is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice focuses on government enforcement actions, investigations, white-collar criminal defense, and complex commercial litigation.
Mr. Levy formerly served as an Assistant United States Attorney (“AUSA”) in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia – a division of the United States Department of Justice – where he prosecuted a variety of crimes, including first-degree murder, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice. Mr. Levy conducted over a dozen criminal trials during his time as an AUSA. During his tenure at the U.S. Attorney’s office, Mr. Levy also led numerous grand jury investigations, argued significant hearings in high stakes cases, and received three Department of Justice Special Achievement Awards. Prior to serving as an AUSA, Mr. Levy clerked for a federal judge in the District of Columbia. He graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown Law in 2014.
