Leon Lin is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Atlanta office. He joined the firm in 2022. His practice focuses on IP litigation, primarily in the patent and trademark space. Leon is licensed to practice in Georgia.
Prior to joining the firm, Leon was an associate at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner. While there, he represented a variety of clients in a diverse array of technological fields, including computer software, internet communications, catalytic technology, and ANDA drug litigation.
While pursuing his undergraduate degrees, Leon worked in various labs at the California Institute of Technology and the University of Richmond that focused on carbon capture and solar-powered water-splitting to produce hydrogen fuel. Additionally, Leon served as a political intern for Virginia Delegate Kaye Kory and has a background in political science. As a law student, Leon worked for in-house at General Electric, drafting patent applications and assisting in litigations regarding GE’s turbine technology.
