Ariane Machavoine joined Quinn Emanuel's Zurich Office in 2023.
Ariane's practice focuses on international arbitration, both commercial and investment. She has worked on cases under ICC, UNCITRAL, and ICSID Rules as well as on annulment proceedings before the Paris Court of Appeal.
Before joining Quinn Emanuel, Ariane assisted Prof. Thomas Clay in various arbitral proceedings, including ICSID, ad hoc, and CAS, where he acted as arbitrator.
Ariane also has significant experience in complex multi-jurisdictional disputes involving ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) and multinational corporations.
She has expanded her practice to encompass litigation before Swiss courts, particularly in high-stakes banking disputes and white-collar crime matters.
Ariane graduated as valedictorian from both her Master II in Arbitration and International Trade Law at Versailles University and from Queen Mary University of London's LLM, where she majored in petroleum contracts and international energy transactions.
Since 2024, she has been admitted to the Paris Bar.
