Raymond Makko is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Sydney office. He joined the firm in 2024. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and class actions.
Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Raymond worked at a firm in Sydney that specialised in litigation and dispute resolution. While there, he represented private and publicly listed companies, liquidators and individuals in proceedings that focused on commercial litigation, shareholder and corporate disputes and insolvency.
Raymond holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from Macquarie University. During his studies, he was awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement Merit Certificate from the Macquarie University Business School and the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Law. Raymond also holds a Master of Laws (Distinction) from the University of Sydney.
Raymond sits on the Editorial Board for the LexisNexis Butterworths Corporations Law Bulletin.
