Aadil Master

Aadil Master is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office.  He joined the firm in 2023, having previously been with the firm in 2021.  His practice focuses on complex commercial and competition litigation. 

In his competition litigation practice, Aadil advises both claimants and defendants on cartel and abuse of dominance cases, and his experience includes acting on some of the largest competition-related disputes currently before the English Courts and Tribunals. He acts in proceedings concerning the manipulation of LIBOR during the global financial crisis against a number of large banks in London, and advises a proposed class representative seeking to bring collective proceedings on behalf of UK consumers against companies in the Meta Platforms (Facebook) group for an alleged abuse of their dominant position. Previously, he acted for a consumer class on a multi-billion pound dispute against Mastercard in respect of their unlawful interchange fees, advising on landmark issues that have shaped the collective action and competition damages regimes in the UK.

Outside of competition disputes, Aadil has advised financial services providers, property developers and charities in a broad array of commercial, construction and property disputes. He has also advised in respect of regulatory investigations by financial regulators and reviews of government decisions.

Aadil graduated with degrees in law & government and international relations from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia.
