Freya McKechnie is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. She joined the firm in 2023, having worked as a litigator since 2018. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Freya has experience acting and advising on a range of matters including contractual disputes, class action proceedings, civil fraud, directors’ duties, fair trading, claims in equity, media and art law.
Prior to joining the firm, Freya worked in the commercial litigation team at New Zealand’s largest litigation firm. Freya appeared regularly in the New Zealand District Court and High Court, including as sole counsel and a Crown Prosecutor. She has also acted on litigation in the Court of Appeal and represented clients in arbitrations, mediations and settlement conferences.
