Melissa Neri is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on resolving high-stakes, complex commercial litigation and intellectual property matters, including patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, contract disputes, and intellectual property licensing. Her work spans a wide range of technologies and industries, including aviation, aerospace and defense, semiconductor technologies, system-on-chips (SoCs), biotech, autonomous vehicles, among others. She represents both plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration, across the United States.
Melissa’s experience includes advising on intellectual property rights under federal government contracts law, including intellectual property and data rights under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the DOD Supplement to the FAR (DFAR). Her practice also includes conducting internal investigations on behalf of corporate clients and defending clients in connection with government investigations by federal agencies.
Prior to joining the firm, Melissa was seconded to a client as its intellectual property counsel.
