Alexandra Neuerburg is an English qualified lawyer and Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Sydney office. She joined the firm in 2024. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, and includes shareholder disputes and representative/class action proceedings in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexandra worked for the World Trade Organisation. She has extensive trade law experience, having advised WTO adjudicators (both first instance “panels”, and the “Appellate Body”), on matters including quantitative restrictions on trade, trade remedies, and the GATT 1994 and TBT agreements, across a range of industries.
Alexandra also worked as a barrister in England on a range of commercial, regulatory and tort law matters for private and public sector clients including the UK government.
Alexandra holds an undergraduate law degree from the University of Oxford and a double masters degree from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She has teaching and research interests in international dispute resolution in particular international economic law.
