Katharina Peters is a German qualified attorney (Rechtsanwältin) and Associate in the Berlin office. She joined the firm in 2023. Her practice focuses on patent litigation as well as regulatory matters in connection to litigation and arbitration at the intersection between law and science.
Katharina studied Chemistry at the University of Sheffield and the University of Heidelberg (M.Sc.) where she also graduated in Law in 2016 as a member of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes). She completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, with stages inter alia at an international law firm focusing on IP, arbitration and health regulation. During the Covid-19-pandemic she worked at the department for general and legal affairs of the Robert Koch Institute, the German government’s central scientific institution in the field of biomedicine and epidemiology.
