Zaid Wahidi is an Associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Paris office. He joined the firm’s international arbitration practice in 2023. He advises and represents states, state-owned entities and corporations in complex international commercial arbitrations, investment arbitrations and cross-border disputes across a wide range of sectors.

Prior to joining the firm, Zaid practiced with leading firms in Washington D.C. and Mumbai, representing clients in high-stakes litigations and international arbitrations. He has also previously clerked with a judge of the Bombay High Court.

Zaid is qualified to practice law in India and the State of New York. He first read law at Government Law College, Mumbai. He then received an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center along with a certificate in international arbitration and dispute resolution, graduating with distinction and as part of the Dean’s List.

Zaid also enjoys engaging with international arbitration academically. He acted as teaching assistant for an international arbitration course offering at Harvard Law School for an entire academic year. He also assisted with courses focused on advocacy in international arbitration at the University of Miami School of Law and Sciences Po, Paris.
