M&A Advisor awarded QE the Financials Deal of the Year award for the Bittrex, Inc. matter, where a QE team led by partners Patty Tomasco and Susheel Kirpalani, successfully guided cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex, Inc. through Chapter 11 proceedings in Delaware Bankruptcy Court as lead bankruptcy counsel.

Facing multiple state and federal regulatory challenges, QE navigated Bittrex through a complex bankruptcy process and spearhead litigation with regulatory agencies and customers. We negotiated settlements with the SEC and Florida Office of Financial Regulation, ultimately achieving confirmation of the chapter 11 plan in October 2023, paying creditors in full and returning substantial value to Bittrex’s founders.
