Quinn Emanuel has been highlighted in an article by The Daily Journal for our work in “TRC Operating Co. Inc. et al. v. Chevron USA Inc.”, where our client won a $120 million jury verdict over claims that Chevron negligently managed its property and harmed TRC’s oil operations. The trail ended in 2021, a new trial was granted, but the verdict was reinstated by the California Court of Appeal in 2024.

Recently retired name Partner Kathleen Sullivan, who argued the case in the Court of Appeal, noted “It’s very rare to get a verdict reinstated and exceedingly rare to get a new trial order reversed.”
