In this expedited, broken-deal case, the QE team secured a decisive victory following a two-day trial, with Chancellor McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery ruling that Nano Dimension had materially breached its merger agreement with QE’s client Desktop Metal. The Chancellor ordered Nano to sign the required regulatory approvals within 48 hours and close its $300 million acquisition of Desktop.
This victory safeguards the future of Desktop Metal, preserving over 700 jobs and ensuring the company can continue its critical work in advanced manufacturing for aerospace and defense sectors.
